London Dining News: July 2026
The second half of July has brought a run of notable arrivals across central London. A British-Japanese handroll counter has opened in Soho, the Pachamama Group has landed its largest London room yet in Marylebone, and the Mr Fogg's collection has taken its biggest tavern into the Covent Garden Market building. Here is what is new this month.
Miokuru handroll bar opens in Soho
Miokuru, a 20-seat counter from the restaurateur Eliott Grabli, opened on Warwick Street in Soho on 13 July 2026. The kitchen pairs British seafood such as Cornish crab and Chalkstream trout with Japanese technique, made-to-order hand rolls and a list of London-brewed sake, bringing a Tokyo counter feel to the edge of the West End.

Pachamama Group's Soraya opens in Marylebone
Soraya, the largest London restaurant yet from the Pachamama Group, opened at 96 George Street in Marylebone on 15 July 2026. The 6,000 sq ft Persian dining room seats around 190 and runs an all-day menu that moves from breakfast omelettes through to kebabs and slow-cooked stews.
Mr Fogg's Market Tavern opens in Covent Garden
Inception Group opened Mr Fogg's Market Tavern in the Covent Garden Market building on 20 July 2026, on the former Crusting Pipe site. The Victorian-styled pub is the largest Mr Fogg's tavern to date, with 130 indoor covers, a 60-seat terrace and a dedicated Guinness Saloon.
